1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Oil Wars ("the Game", "the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service. Oil Wars Team ("we", "us", "our") reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time, and such modifications shall be effective immediately upon posting.

2. Description of Service

Oil Wars is a blockchain-based strategy game built on the Solana network. Players can:

  • Purchase ownership percentages of virtual oil fields
  • Extract $OUSD tokens based on production rates
  • Purchase defense assets to protect their fields
  • Purchase fleet assets to launch attacks on other players
  • Engage in strategic gameplay to maximize earnings

All transactions occur on the Solana blockchain and require SOL for transaction fees.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service. By using Oil Wars, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are of legal age in your jurisdiction
  • You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
  • You are not prohibited from using the Service under applicable laws
  • You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations

4. Blockchain Transactions

Oil Wars operates on the Solana blockchain. All transactions are:

  • Irreversible: Once executed, transactions cannot be reversed
  • Public: All transactions are recorded on the public blockchain
  • Final: Transactions are final and cannot be modified
  • Subject to Fees: Network fees apply to all blockchain transactions

You are solely responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security of your wallet and private keys
  • Verifying transaction details before confirming
  • Understanding the risks associated with blockchain transactions
  • Paying all applicable network fees

5. Game Assets and Tokens

$OUSD Tokens: The in-game token ($OUSD) is an SPL token on the Solana network. These tokens have no inherent value outside of the game and are not:

  • Securities or investment instruments
  • Guaranteed to have any value
  • Backed by any assets or reserves
  • Subject to refund or exchange policies

Virtual Assets: All in-game assets (oil fields, defenses, fleets) are virtual and exist only within the game. They have no real-world value and cannot be exchanged for fiat currency or other cryptocurrencies outside of the game ecosystem.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to hack, exploit, or manipulate the game mechanics
  • Use automated scripts, bots, or other unauthorized tools
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Engage in market manipulation or fraudulent activities

7. Risks and Disclaimers

YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT:

  • The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
  • Blockchain transactions carry inherent risks including loss of funds
  • Game mechanics, token values, and features may change without notice
  • We are not responsible for losses due to user error, wallet compromise, or network issues
  • The Service may experience downtime, bugs, or technical issues
  • We do not guarantee the availability, accuracy, or completeness of the Service

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OIL WARS TEAM SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • Loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses
  • Losses resulting from blockchain transactions or wallet security
  • Losses resulting from game mechanics, bugs, or technical issues
  • Losses resulting from third-party services or integrations

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service, including but not limited to:

  • Text, graphics, logos, images, and software
  • Game mechanics, rules, and design
  • Trademarks, service marks, and trade names

Are owned by Oil Wars Team or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to:

  • Suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time
  • Modify or discontinue the Service without notice
  • Remove or modify game features, assets, or mechanics

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. We are not obligated to provide refunds or compensation for any virtual assets or tokens.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Oil Wars Team operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration.
